Naledi Hlongwane scores brace for Chiefs
Hlongwane keeps on scoring for his team.
Despite been ‘dropped’ to the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) Team for game time, Naledi Hlongwane seems to have hit his old form.
This Sebokeng-born forward is back to his form.
He scored a brace when Kaizer Chiefs beat Polokwane City 5-1 in a one-sided DDC match over the weekend. Hlongwane has been an outstanding performer for Amakhosi DDC team netting 11 goals this season so far.

He is the current top goal scorer for Chiefs DDC team.
He has been on score sheet for Chiefs in every game this season. Not long ago, he scored a brace when Chiefs DDC team beat Golden Arrows 2-1.
Hlongwane is a finisher of note especially when opponents give him space in the box. He has been known as goal scorer from a young age. For example, he was a top goal scorer for NWU Vaal Development League for the u15.
” It is not by chance that he keeps scoring…”
He was only 13 years old when he was promoted to the u15.He was also the youngest player to play in the SAFA Sedibeng Regional Promotion Play-Offs. It is not a fluke that he still scores goals for Chiefs DDC team.Hlongwane was promoted to Chiefs senior team a season ago after his stunning performance for Carling Black Label Selected Team in the exhibition match against Magesi.
He scored a brace and by that time he was playing in the DDC. It was before being promoted to the senior team. With his current performance there is no doubt next season he will recall back to senior team.
