Metro Stars FC face a must-win game against VUT FC at the Isak Steyl Stadium on Saturday.
SEDIBENG.- SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League 2025/2026 season is heading for a dramatic finale, with the campaign expected to wrap up over the next two weekends.
The title race remains wide open, with the top teams fighting for the championship and a spot in the upcoming Gauteng Inter-Regional Play-offs. Because SAFA Sedibeng is hosting the play-offs, the teams that finish in first and second place will both qualify to represent the region.
Disciplinary matters can completely alter final standings
However, Sedibeng Ster Sport has been informed that the final standings could still be completely altered by outstanding disciplinary matters.
Boipatong FC currently leads the table with 68 points and only two matches left. They face a tricky away fixture against rock-bottom Cheeky Boys Institute FC.
Perfect Academy sits in second place with 66 points after 28 games. They are the only team with four matches remaining, including an away fixture against Remember Elite Sports Academy. Ben 10 FC are in third place, level on 66 points with Perfect Academy, and they travel away to face Early Birds FC in another crucial match.

The chasing pack remains close behind. Metro Stars FC are in fourth place with 65 points, while Moponisi United FC are also in the mix with 65 points.
On Saturday at 15:00, Moponisi United FC will host Star Boys Academy at Vanderbijlpark Hoërskool.
Meanwhile, Metro Stars FC face a must-win game against VUT FC at the Isak Steyl Stadium on Saturday as they look to close the gap at the top and keep their promotion hopes alive.
