SAFA Sedibeng Regional League double-header produces 10 goals
"Everyone can see this is a young team and we prepare them for the future."
SHARPEVILLE.- SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Men’s Regional League double-headers produced a total of ten goals at the George Thabe Stadium on Saturday.
It was goals galore with Perfect Academy hammering NWU Vaal FC 5-0. In another game, which also formed part of the double-deader, Ben 10 FC beat Celta Vigo FC with the same score, 5-0.

These two fixtures were tops with Perfect Academy, and Ben 10 FC challenging for the league title.
It was a must-win game for both sides to close the gap at the top, with Boipatong FC still maintaining their lead at the top of the log with 78 points after their weekend 3-0 victory against 016 Magista FC at the Boipatong Stadium on Sunday.
Ben 10 FC is second on the log with 75 points, while Metro Stars FC is in third position with 71 points. All three teams have two games left to wrap up the season. Perfect Academy is fourth on the log with 69 points after their weekend results, with four games in hand.

Back to the double-header, local soccer fans enjoyed every moment of action from the games between Perfect Academy and NWU Vaal FC, and Ben 10 FC and Celta Vigo FC. Former Orlando Pirates favourite Thabo ‘Mjomani’ Rakhale was among the interesting spectators watching from the stand.

Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that Rakhale is involved behind the scenes.
The two games were exciting as they produced ten goals, much to the delight of the soccer fans who came in numbers to support their favourite teams. NWU Vaal FC were like sheep that came to be slaughtered.

They offered no resistance, and Perfect Academy enjoyed the freedom of their home ground.
They wanted this win badly to close up the gap at the top. The second game between Ben 10 FC and Celta Vigo FC also lived up to expectations, with the home team having to sweat before beating the young Celta Vigo FC team. It was a great example of football.
Word from Celta Figo FC’s coach, Themba Dlamini: “Everyone can see this is a young team and we prepare them for the future. No excuses, but most of the players are between the ages of 15 and 17. We were playing against a team that is challenging the league, and they wanted this win desperately.”
