Acoustic guitarist Russ Barenberg visits Ramsgate

Music man: Classic guitarist Russ Barenberg will be at Burlesque Café in Ramsgate on Friday, November 6 at 6pm for 7.30pm.

GRAMMY-nominated acoustic guitarist and composer Russ Barenberg will treat local music lovers to a performance at Burlesque Café in Ramsgate on Friday, November 6 at 6pm for 7.30pm.

Russ is known for his melodic playing and memorable instrumental compositions. Long at the creative forefront of the acoustic music scene, he has collaborated with world-class musicians like Alison Krauss, James Taylor, Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Emmy Lou Harris and Tim O’Brien.

His latest CD, ‘When at Last’, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Country Instrumental Performance and was nominated for the International Bluegrass Music Association Instrumental Album of the Year. USA Today describes Russ as an acoustic guitar maestro.
