Aristo(Cat) entertains at Tuesday Rostrum

SOUTH African-born cabaret star Cat Simoni’s life changed almost overnight when she left home to seek fame and fortune in London.

A BSc graduate from Durban, she made a dramatic career change and, for 10 years, found herself entertaining at five-star-London venues and exclusive private clubs. She has played at the Ritz, the Dorchester and Park Lane to name just a few.

With her fabulous voice and her dazzling piano virtuosity, she has wowed the rich, the famous and the international jet set. Her varied repertoire is made up of music from the great West End and Broadway shows, including many of the Andrew Lloyd Webber showstoppers, works by great songwriters like Porter, Rogers, Gershwin and Kern and pop mega-hits from yesterday and today.

Her new show, ‘Cat’s London Story’, is based on her London experiences and features everyone’s favourite Andrew Lloyd Webber hits. She looks forward to presenting it at the Tuesday Rostrum Christmas brunch at San Lameer on Tuesday, December 1, at 10am.

Thanks to the greatly reduced rate offered by San Lameer to host the annual happening, members will only be charged R70 and guests, R120. This once-off special price should see tickets selling fast. As there is a limit of 120 people, you should book as soon as possible.
