Barry Hilton parties in the pits

Fun and laughter: Join comedian Barry Hilton at the 'Party in The Pits' at the Dezzi South Coast Raceway on November 26.

 

SOUTH African comedy legend Barry Hilton will entertain guests at the ‘Party in The Pits’ at the Dezzi South Coast Raceway on November 26 at 6.30pm for 7pm.

This evening of fun and laughter will be hosted by the Shelly Beach Lions Club in conjunction with Dezzi Raceway.

“The unusual venue lends itself perfectly to a function of this nature. We are sure that it will be well supported by South Coast comedy fans. The many companies organising year-end parties now might like to consider this function as a fun-filled alternative,” said Shelly Beach Lions’ president Mark Brauteseth.

The event will be held in a large marquee next to the main track and pits at Dezzi South Coast Raceway, thus providing the audience an authentic race-day atmosphere while they are treated to a heady mix of comedy and live music. A three-course meal is included in the ticket price. Eight seater tables will be available and bookings will be essential at R250 per person.

Barry, who presented his first professional show 30 years ago, is one of South Africa’s favourite funny men and his fame has also spread far and wide overseas. Renowned for his special brand of South African humour, he has shared it with audiences all over the world. He has performed on five different continents and he kick-started last year with a stellar performance at the world renowned Sydney Opera House.
