Forest trail run this Sunday

THE inaugural Umdoni Forest Trail Run will take place at Umdoni Park Golf Club this Sunday, December 18.

Organised by Bushlife Adventures, it will cater for both beginners and seasoned trail runners.

There will be two distances that can be run, a 6km and a 12km trail, both exploring the magnificent Umdoni indigenous forest.

The routes consist of scenic forest track and technical sections with runners taking in the amazing views of the golf course and stunning beach.

Goodie bags are available for the first 200 entrants, with cash prizes on offer for the winners of the two races.

Registration for the event will take place at the golf club from 6am, with the races starting at 7.10am.

Entry is R60 for the 6km and R100 for the 12km on the day.
