Fun and fashion feature at Scottburgh car show
A FUN and fashion parade will add a touch of glamour to this year’s Scottburgh Classic Car Show, a major charity fund-raiser that takes place at Scottburgh High School on Sunday, July 17.
This new arena event will combine dazzling fashions with some magnificent motor vehicles from yesteryear. There will also be hundreds of classic cars and motorbikes on display.
Sponsored by the Rising Sun community newspaper group, the show provides a thoroughly entertaining day out for the whole family. There will be an assortment of food stalls, a tea garden and a beer tent, jumping castles and miniature train rides for the younger visitors and nostalgia, in the form of great music and happy motoring memories for their parents.
Gates open for pre-1975 classic vehicles at 7.30am and for the public at 9am. Entrance fees are R30 for adults and R10 for pensioners and scholars. Children under 12 will be admitted for free. No dogs are allowed.
Secure free parking will be available at the Scottburgh Primary School, but parking for the disabled will be on the show field. Two roving shuttle buses will be available.
