Gauteng band hits The Rock

From Johannesburg: Jerry and the Bandits will be at ‘The Rock’ in Umzumbe on Saturday evening, January 16.

MAGICAL musical happenings continue to take centre stage at ‘The Rock‘ in Umzumbe, with a lively Johannesburg band performing there this weekend.

The visiting outfit, ‘Jerry and the Bandits’ will be at the popular Umzumbe music venue on Saturday evening, January 16.

The rather folky sounds are influenced by the likes of Mumford and Sons, Vance Joy, Of Monsters and Men, Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Clegg, The Lumineers and Jeremy Loops.

Join local legends David Marks and Oscar Swanlund for an open mic night at ‘The Rock’, tomorrow (Friday) night. Come and listen or bring an instrument and join in the jam. Music starts from 6pm. Booking is essential.
