Hit tribute show heads our way

LOCAL fans of legendary Michael Jackson will be thrilled to know that a world class Michael Jackson tribute show will be staged at the Tropical Nites theatre, Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort, from December 29 to January 2.

The revamped Michael Jackson HIStory Show will feature a new star, Johannesburg performer, Dantanio. The Tropical Nites run will include a New Year’s Eve spectacular.

A two-hour stage show, the tribute has recently been updated with extra songs, fresh costumes and innovative production elements..

Since taking over the role of Michael Jackson from Kenny Wizz last year, Dantanio has toured to Australia, New Zealand and Asia. It will be his first appearance at the Wild Coast Sun.

“Every performance, all around the world, is a blessing, a chance to do what I love, to sing and perform and honour Michael. It is particularly special to perform in my home country. I always hope to make South Africans proud,” said Dantanio, who will be joined on stage by a band and dancers. The programme includes hits like ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Thriller’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘Man in the Mirror’, ‘Black or White’, ‘Bad’, ‘ABC’, ‘I Want You Back’ and ‘Ben’.
