‘Hunt’ white elephants at big church bazaar
SWEET treats like pancakes, homemade fudge and other candies, puddings, cakes and, of course koeksusters, will be just some of the many drawcards at the massive NG Church, Port Shepstone bazaar, at Suid-Natal High on Saturday, August 1, from 7.30am.
There will be plenty to entertain the younger visitors who will be delighted at the wide range of games and fun rides available. There will be jumping castles, slides, mechanical surfing, fun giant ‘bubbles’ and a mechanical bull.
Mom can take a break from cooking for the family as there will be a lovely range of meals and snacks available, ranging from jaffles, slap chips, potato twists and popcorn to big breakfast burgers and curry and rice. You can wash the snacks down with real ginger beer.
Hunt for all sorts of pre-loved, bargain-priced treasures at the white elephant stall and start some early Christmas shopping at the well-stocked needlework table or the stalls selling pickles, preserves and jams. There will also be a tea garden. To book a stall for R50 contact 039 6820266.
