Join the Cansa Relay for Life 2017

THE Cansa Relay For Life is an annual 12-hour event which will be held this year at Suid-Natal Primary on October 21 and 22 from 2pm to 2am.

What makes this event different from other fund-raisers is that the Relay for Life event ‘celebrates, remembers and fights back’.

The main part of the event comprises teams of 10-15 people who camp around the track and take turns in walking around the track in relay fashion.

One person from each team has to be walking at any given time. The registration fee is R500 for adult teams or R350 for school/youth teams – with the option of fund-raising further.

School teams are encouraged to take part in the event as it is a safe venue with no alcohol or smoking. During the 12 hours there will be entertainment on the main stage, including various Relay for Life ceremonies, singing, dancing, Zumba, team activities and a fun lap every hour on the hour. This year’s theme is Under the Sea.
