Let’s talk about the environment

BASIL King, senior magistrate and judicial sub-cluster head in Port Shepstone will be the keynote speaker at the Umbango River Conservancy’s annual general meeting.

The meeting will be held at Gate Ministries near the South Coast Herald this Saturday, August 27 at 2.30pm. Mr King has been a senior lecturer at the Justice College for many years and is well versed with laws and the implementation thereof. His address will focus on municipality by-laws in relation to the environment.

An update on Hope Park will be included. If you care about the environment, if you are concerned about the image of the town or if you are a business owner, the conservancy urges you to attend. Membership is open to all at R10 per annum.
