Lions host community braai

ENJOY a relaxing braai and social get-together with friends, neighbours and the Ramsgate Lions at the Ramsgate Lions’ Community Centre (it was the bowling club) on Friday, October 30 at 6pm.

Bring your own meat. Salads will be provided at R25 per person and there is a cash bar available. Children are welcome. There will be a quiz after the braai for those wishing to take part. A nominal fee of R10 per contestant is charged for the quiz. The rugby raffle draw will also be taking place, so come along and buy a ticket and stand a chance to win a rugby jersey plus heaps of other donated goodies.

Don’t forget that the Ramsgate Lions also host an organic market at the community centre every Saturday, from 8am to 11am.

There are stalls selling all sorts of lovely fresh produce and home-made goodies and tea and coffee are available. You can also enjoy a breakfast of bacon and egg rolls, courtesy of the hard working Lions.
