Opportunity knocks for local talent

DON’T miss a rare opportunity to make it big with the Summer Heat Model and Talent Search, with applications now open across the country.

South Coast singers, dancers, actors and model hopefuls can look forward to auditions in Port Shepstone on Sunday, June 19.

Auditions will take place at Spiller’s Wharf from 11am.

Payal Ramlall (22) of Port Shepstone was selected as the Summer Heat Model of the Year in 2015.

She was one of a number of South Coasters who were chosen at the regional auditions to perform for Kim Myers and who were invited to represent South Africa in the United States of America.

In July this year she will spend two weeks in New York and Orlando, Florida, where she will perform in front of representatives from major international model agencies, casting directors, managers and movie studios from across the globe on the hunt for fresh talent.
