Mama and Papa James sing at Azalea

WITH a big fan following on the South Coast, husband and wife songbirds, Mama and Papa James, can expect a warm welcome when they present ‘Memories are Made of This’, at Azalea Hall at Margate Retirement Village on July 11 at 6pm for 7pm.

Sol Kerzner of the Sun International Hotel Group brought Mama and Papa here from Madagascar a few years ago and they have become much-loved performers since then. They will entertain the Azalea audience with a delightful blend of music from the 1960s and 1970s, singing in both French and English.

The programme will include songs made famous by big name singers like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Edith Piaf, Elvis Presley and Cliff Richard, to name a few.
