Popular singer returns to Tuesday Rostrum

IF you were at the 2015 Tuesday Rostrum Christmas brunch, you will be delighted to know that last year’s guest performer, the talented, funny and vivacious Cat Simoni, has agreed on an encore.

Not only will she be back to entertain the ‘friendly thinking women’s club’ at its big festive season celebration, but she will be sharing a stage with charming Paul Spence, who joined her on stage for a duet or two last year.

Hear the talented duo at San Lameer on Tuesday, November 29 at 10am. Cat Simoni is back in South Africa, earning plenty of applause, after 10 years of playing and singing for the international crème de la crème at the five-star London venues and clubs. A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for seven years, Paul Spence has worked in theatres from London, Copenhagen and Vienna to Tokyo.

Together they will present a show called ‘Divine Duets’, comprising their favourite duets from across the decades. Listen out for hits like ‘Baby it’s Cold Outside’, ‘I Got You Babe’, ‘True Love’, ‘For Me and My Gal’ and ‘Islands in the Stream’.

Tuesday Rostrum members will pay a special fee of only R100 per person. Guests will pay R200. Contact Denise at 083 2719163.
