Ramsgate Lions hold dinner dance

It would seem that as one inexcusable incident of blatant racism recedes from public view, another reprehensible rant emerges – much to the disgust and outrage of most South Africans.

THE Ramsgate Lions’ next big event is the Black and White Dinner Dance at the Ramsgate Lions’ Community Centre on September 3.

Tickets are R120 per person and include a three-course meal. A cash bar is available. Tickets can be booked with Janice at 083 7775131 or Desiree at 083 4415586.

The Village Braai and Quiz will be taking place at the community centre on Friday, August 26 from 6pm. Salads cost R30 and the quiz R10 per person. Fires are provided and there is a cash bar.

Don’t miss the car boot sale at the community centre on Saturday, August 27 from 8am to midday.
