Take a walk on Valentine’s Day

COME join the Umtentweni Conservancy for a walk and talk along the Mzimkhulu River on St Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14.

Registration is at 7am and the walk starts at 7.30am. Entrance fee is R40, which includes the walk, talk, a breakfast bun and juice. Sunscreen, water and a torch are essential.

The walk will start at the Port Shepstone Country Club and proceed to a picnic spot, where everyone will enjoy a breakfast bun and some juice while they listen to a talk by Alex Skene about the history of the river and Geoff Nichols who will be talking about some special plants that can be found in the Mzimkhulu valley.

As an optional extra, Brian Lange will be offering boat trips up the river for R20 per person once the walk is over.
