There will be music in the park

CARING Saints, an organisation that raises money for people in need, is holding a fund-raising Music in the Park evening at Hlanganani Park (the old bird park) in Uvongo on Saturday, December 12, from 3pm to 10.30pm.

It will be a lovely relaxed evening of music and entertainment round a big bonfire that the whole family will enjoy. There will be an assortment of craft stalls, lucky draw competitions, live music, fire pois and a drumming circle.

The Caring Saints organisation will have a table and guests can bring along donations of old clothes, blankets and toys. Food, including cupcakes for younger visitors, will be on sale and free tea and coffee will be available.

Entrance is R40 per person, with children under 12 admitted free. There will also be a charge of R20 per cooler box, which may contain only drinks.
