Trio tunes up for classics concert

Happy return: Pianist Christopher Duigan, will be back at Riverbend on Friday, September 9 at 6.30pm.

MUSIC lovers will be delighted to know that another wonderful Classics at Riverbend concert is looming on the horizon.

Popular pianist Christopher Duigan, a regular performer at Riverbend, will be joined on stage by clarinettist Junnan Sun and cellist Aristide du Plessis at the Riverbend Conference Centre on Friday, September 9 at 6.30pm.

Their programme will comprise music by Beethoven, Saint-Saens and Brahms. The usual free wine tasting will start at 5.45pm. Tickets, at R100, are already on sale at the Riverbend shop. Make sure you buy yours soon as these regular classical concerts sell out fast
