We all knit together on WWKPD

THE Ramsgate Knit-Twits invite everyone to the World Wide Knit in Public Day (WWKPD) at the entrance to the Ramsgate Whale Deck, opposite the Crayfish Inn, on Saturday, June 18 from 10am to 3pm.

Come and join some fun ‘yarning’  in celebration of this international event.

These talented women will have yarn bombed baskets filled with organic vegetables, herbs, home bakes and lots more for sale, as well as blankets, beanies, gloves, socks, scarves and jumpers, cute birds and owls.

All knitters are welcome to come and join in on the fun.

Bring knitting needles, crochet hooks, comfy chairs, picnic lunches and refreshments. Yarn will be provided. All knitted teddies will go to the Port Shepstone Rape Crisis Centre.

Anyone keen to learn how to knit or crochet is also welcome.

A percentage of the proceeds will go towards Second Chance Avian Rescue in Shelly Beach which rescues and rehabilitates birds.
