Winston Smile at fairway bash

Class: Winston Smile is one of the entertainers at the Mothers' Day celebration on the 13th Fairway of Southbroom Golf Club this Sunday, May 14 from 2pm to 5pm.

 

FORMERLY from Centurion, singer Winston Smile is now living on the South Coast and will entertain music lovers at the Mothers’ Day celebration on the 13th Fairway of Southbroom Golf Club this Sunday, May 14 from 2pm to 5pm.

He will share the stage with golden-voiced Arina de Witt and and sassy ‘Saxadelic’, a duo comprising saxophonist Vicky de Villliers and keyboard player Calli Thomson, who both sing as well.

In harmony: Local musical duo, The Hinds Brothers, Aden (left) and Wren, will be at Rocky Ridge on Friday, May 19, at 8pm.

After completing his education at Centurion Hoërskool Winston slowly built up his musical career, taking part in many competitions and obtaining grading certificates from Centurion Kunstefees, Pretoria Eisteddfod and the ATKV.

After winning a Crescendo award in the Senior High School category, he was able to travel South Africa for two years singing at festivals like Aardklop, Inni Bos and KKNK and opening for Kurt Darren, Dozi, Eden and many more.

Tickets for the 13th Fairway bash are available from Southbroom Golf Club, Realty 1 Southbroom, Le Plantation and Margate Furnishers. Bring your own picnic baskets, chairs and refreshments or you can order a picnic basket from Southbroom Golf Club, Yaya’s Cafe or Tamar.
