Local litter busters joined the global initiative with enthusiasm.

Originally, the idea was to clear litter from the coastlines of the world but the International Coastal Clean-up now includes cleaning inland lakes, rivers and streams. It is the world’s largest voluntary effort to care for the ocean. Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife honorary officers co-ordinated the clean-up.
