Tough conditions for HKC dogs and handlers

THE championship show at Ashley in Pinetown was extremely trying as handlers and dogs had to work in hail, lightning, thunder and heavy rain.

Gaby Frey decided not to return on the Sunday but Scooby did her proud on Saturday with two firsts and a second but then we expect that from them having just been placed third in the world as part of the South African team.
Members are very relieved that after the recent torrential rains, the clubhouse is still dry but the field is flooded and the newly erected fence is damaged yet again. Members will be brought up to date with any changes to training details this Saturday.
