I was pleasantly surprised when I was only charged a fee for the actual repair of the puncture.
DEAR Editor,-
On more than five occasions, the same rear tyre on my Volkswagen Beetle had to be repaired and every time I was required to pay for repairs to the valve or rim. It was a continuous process.
One day when I discovered the same tyre deflated, I asked for assistance from Margate Mag & Tyre, the manager kindly dispatched one of his employees (a polite, helpful young Afrikaans gentleman) to accompany me to my home, armed with the necessary equipment.
After the faulty tyre was removed and repaired, the young man promptly refitted it on my vehicle which was parked in the garage of my home in Ramsgate. I waited, with bated breath, for the account, but was pleasantly surprised when I was only charged a fee for the actual repair of the puncture! Even though the rim had to be straightened and there was time involved travelling to and fro!
As a pensioner I would like to thank the manager/owner of Margate Mag & Tyre for this efficient, friendly service and would recommend this service provider to everyone.
