February is anti-rabies month
It's time for pets to have their free annual jabs. Please make a note of where and when your nearest clinic will be held.
FEBRUARY is anti-rabies month on the Hibiscus Coast, where a rigorous rabies vaccination campaign takes place every year.
Fight the deadly disease by taking your pets to the nearest rabies clinics for their free annual jabs. The Department of Agriculture will conduct clinics at the following venues:
* Monday, February 1- Port Edward Library from 8.30am to 12.30pm; Nicholson Garage from 1pm to 2.30pm.
* Tuesday, February 2 – Glenmore Supermarket from 8.30am to 10.30am; Munster Protection Services office from 11am to 12.30am; Greenhart Supermarket from 1pm to 2.30pm.
* Wednesday, February 3 – Seventh Heaven Superette from 8.30am to 10.30am; Marina Beach Library from 11am to 12.30pm; Impenjathi Town Board office from 1pm to 1.30pm.
* Thursday, February 4 – Ramsgate beach parking from 8.30am to noon; Mzimele Centre, Margate Ext 3 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
* Friday, February 5 – Margate Hibiscus Mall from 8.30am to noon; SPCA Uvongo from 1pm to 2.30pm.
* Monday, February 8 – Uvongo Civic Centre from 8.30am to 11.30am; Shelly Beach Library and clinic from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
* Tuesday, February 9 – Old state vet office in Oslo Beach from 8.30am to 11.30am; Port Shepstone borough grounds from noon to 2.30pm.
* Wednesday, February 10 – White City Hall, Albersville from 8.30am to 11.30am; Woodpecker cul de sac, Palm View from noon to 1.30pm.
* Thursday, February 11 – Singh’s Store, Lions Grove from 8.30am to 11.30am; Solly’s Store, Lion’s Grove from noon to 1.30pm.
* Friday, February 12 – Marburg Library 8.30am to noon; Merlewood Youth Centre 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
* Monday, February 22 – Umtentweni Town Hall from 8.30am to 12.30pm; Alfred Evans Hall, Sea Park from 1pm to 2.30pm,
* Tuesday, February 23 – Melville beach parking from 8.30am to 10am; St Anne’s Church, Umzumbe (old Moth Hall) from 10.30am to noon; Mtwalume Post Office from 1pm to 2.30pm.
* Wednesday, February 24 – Hibberdene Library from 8.30am to 1pm.
* Thursday, February 25 – Southport beach parking area from 8.30am to noon.
