General Ndlovu receives top award
The prestigious awards event was hosted by the KZN Provincial Commissioner.
CLUSTER Commander of Ugu SAPS, Major General Thembi Ndlovu, received the award for the Senior Operational Manager of the year 2014/2015. The prestigious awards evening was hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner and took place in Durban last Friday.
At the awards ceremony, specific mention was made of the thorough investigation and quick arrests of the suspects in the Ixopo murder case where a nun was killed. The excited Maj-Gen Ndlovu said that her good relationship with the officers under her command made this award possible.
She is also very grateful to the community for its commitment and support and promised that the police under her command were committed to protect and serve the public. She also thanked all police officers for their hard work during the festive season.
