Double blow for Pennington driver

The man discovered that his Hilux had been stolen from inside the garage and his BMW from the driveway.

TWO vehicles were stolen from a property in Pennington last Sunday night.

The owner of a house in Douglas Road was awoken by his vehicle tracking company, asking him to check on his Toyota Hilux and BMW.

The man discovered that his Hilux had been stolen from inside the garage and his BMW from the driveway.

“Entry was gained by removing the gate in the fence and breaking in through a window,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

Both vehicles were recovered on Monday. The BMW was found in Folweni, Umlazi and the Hilux in Moore Road, Durban.

Scottburgh police are still investigating.
