VISITORS from Johannesburg were attacked and robbed in Ramsgate last Thursday .
The two perpetrators apparently forced open the burglar guards in order to gain entry to the home before stealing a number of items.
According to police reports, as the father was returning from the beach, he heard his daughter screaming and calling for help.
He saw two men, one of whom attacked him with a knife, injuring him.
In a separate incident last Saturday, a man was walking near Masinenge when he was held up at knifepoint. The men robbed him of cash and other belongings before fleeing.
Police report that 15 cases of robbery were opened in Margate last weekend alone.
