FOUR people were arrested in Lower Albersville and charged with theft and the possession of stolen property last Thursday.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Warrant Officer Johan van Blommenstein and W/O Marius Audie were noticed a truck carrying boxes of photocopier paper in Sugar Mill Road.
“They also noticed a sedan parked next to the truck. Upon investigation, it was established that the load, from Durban, was to be delivered to Port Shepstone. However, it is believed that the two occupants of the truck had loaded extra boxes which they had sold illegally to the occupants of the car,” she said.
The four appeared in the Port Shepstone Court last Friday. The case was postponed to November 14 for further investigation.
The truck its load of paper were returned to the rightful owner.
