CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Port Shepstone Secondary’s most outstanding achiever, Shiven Chetty, who notched up 7As and a whopping overall aggregate of 91 percent.

Following closely is Karosa Moodley, who also bagged 7As attaining a 90 percent aggregate. Both have been placed in the top five in the Ugu District and attended the prestigious KZN Provincial NSC Release of Results Ceremony at the ICC in Durban yesterday (Thursday), with the principal, Genganathan Odayar.

The 2016 matriculants have done the school proud, with an improvement in our pass rate from 2015. The class of 2016 excelled, with 122 distinctions in total.

Bringing further accolades to the school were various other top candidates, Tharish Ranjit with an impressive 6 As and Mohammed Gangat, Kimera Odayar and Neha Ramsarup who scooped 5 As each.

Netting 4 As apiece were Pravashin Appalraju, Jeradene Ramsingh, Calvin Mohunlal, Bonguthando Luyanda Zulu and Bradlee Kevin Naidoo.

The principal, staff and School Governing Body (SGB) extend their heartfelt congratulations to all matriculants and take this opportunity of wishing all, every success in their future endeavours.

Further,the principal acknowledges the unwavering dedication of all educators, whose efforts have contributed
greatly to the improved results.
