CHILD Welfare Society representatives Sagree Naicker and Carrol Meth addressed Jai Hind pupils at last week’s assembly to promote ‘Child Protection Week’. Promotional stickers were sold to pupils at R2 each and an amount of R800 was collected for donation to this worthy organisation.

Sixteen volleyball players competed at the Ugu District selection trials and the school is proud to announce that Caleb Appalsamy, Darryn Manisunker, Duran Pillay, Jamie-Lee Francis, Sinesipho Tayi, Michelle Copeland and Cherish Tulsi were chosen to represent in Durban from June 9 to 11. Players will be accompanied by coaches Ivan Govender and Sushilla Kistamurthy.
The annual interhouse athletics will take place on the school grounds tomorrow (Friday, May 26).
