CRESTON senior primary held an ‘appreciation ceremony’ last week for Girl Guide members, as well as pupils who give of their precious time to help the school, assist less fortunate community members and selflessly volunteer at animal shelters.
The Africa Day concert last Friday evening saw some incredible talent emerging.
Creston’s first rugby team won 17-7 against Kuswag last week and the U14 team won 17-15 against Suid-Natal Primary.

Ugu hosted an ‘Invitational only’ chess tournament for 130 players last week. Gr 9 pupil Stjon Podmore made the ‘Top 6’ and the Ugu U16 boys’ chess team will compete at the KZN interdistrict chess tournament in Durban this weekend.
Gr 7 pupils are invited to write the Creston 2018 gr 8 entrance tests on Friday, June 2nd, 9th and 23rd. Entrants must report to the marketing office by 1pm for the exams at 1.15pm. Contact Lynne Harley at 039 6855562.
