WATCH: Azalea takes top honours at Jai Hind

Congratulations to volleyball players for excelling on the volleyball courts last weekend.

JAI Hind Primary’s annual interhouse athletics last Friday was a resounding success. The exciting, spectacular and colourful event was well supported by parents, well-wishers and governing body members.

In perfect weather, athletes were able to showcase their talents and compete for medals and points.

Azalea House triumphed with an impressive 179 points, followed by Jasmine (106), Protea (103) and Zinnia in fourth position (57).

Looking glamorous at the sports day are mascots (from left) Atalia Pather (Zinnia house), Mihle Salma (Azalea house), Nazeen Patel (Protea house) and Kayleigh Nair representing Jasmine house.

No sports day is complete without a treat and pupils and parents were treated to a scrumptious doughnut, refreshing soda and a packet of crisps.

Special thanks go to all volunteers and spectators for making this such a memorable day.

Congratulations to volleyball players for excelling on the volleyball courts last weekend. The U13 boys’ team won their division, the U11 girls played an outstanding match and placed runners-up. Players look forward to the next round at the KZN trials.
