THE annual AMS Provincial Netball Tournament was held at Hoy Park in Durban last Saturday. Port Shepstone Islamic School’s U13 and U15 girls competed against nine schools.

It was a long, challenging and exciting day as the teams left before sunrise and returned home at night. The girls, smartly dressed in navy blue and red kits, held strongly against their opponents.
The U13 girls won three of their six matches and the U15 girls won four.
The vigorous Saturday training sessions, under the guidance of coaches Sooraya Hanief and Rabia Moosa have paid off. Coaches will continue volleyball training.
The governing body, principal, staff and pupils wish all Muslims a peaceful and spiritually uplifting period through the auspicious month of Ramadaan.
