Kai and Reece make Izotsha proud

Izotsha teams played exciting hockey, netball and rugby matches at the SNP winter sports tournament last week.

IZOTSHA Primary had an exceptionally busy sporting and academic week. Senior grades have commenced formal mid-year exams and continue writing until the end of this week.

Sports teams performed exceptionally well against Southcity last week. Senior A girls’ hockey won 1-0, both junior girls’ A and B hockey teams lost 2-1, the junior A boys’ hockey drew 2-2, senior A boys’ hockey won 3-1, both junior A and B netball teams lost 3-1, senior A girls’ netball lost 13-2, senior A rugby boys won 32–5, the junior A team won 15–10 and junior B won 43–7.

Suid-Natal Primary hosted a most enjoyable winter sports tournament last Saturday. Exciting hockey, netball and rugby matches were played against SNP, Warner Beach, Creston, Kuswag, Umkomaas, Scottburgh and Port Natal.

The school is exceptionally proud of Kai Hielckert for being selected for the KZN Coastals U13A team and Reece du Toit for the U13C team.
