SAPS bust Park Rynie burglar

Ngwane was remanded back into police custody following his court appearance on June 8.

FORMERLY wanted in connection with two burglaries in Park Rynie earlier this year, a 42-year-old Malangeni suspect has been taken into police custody.

During the burglaries, Themba Ngwane stole various items ranging from jewellery to household electrical appliances.

He has since appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court facing charges of housebreaking and theft.

Acting on intelligence, Detective Warrant Officer Yugen Moodley of the Scottburgh Cluster Detective Task Team and Warrant Officer Kenneth Glover of the Umzinto K9 Unit pounced on the suspect’s home in Malangeni, where he was arrested on June 7.

Ngwane was remanded back into police custody following his court appearance on June 8. Detective Constable Weidon Govender of the Scottburgh Cluster Detective Task Team are investigating the cases.
