Pedestrian dies after being run over by a vehicle

A case of culpable homicide has been registered for investigation by the Scottburgh SAPS Detective Service.

WITNESSES are being called upon to assist the SAPS with information surrounding the death of a pedestrian who might have been run over by a vehicle on the N2 northbound near Sezela.

The body of the 26-year-old Ifafa man was found lying on the side of the road on Sunday, May 28 around 4.25am with injuries which suggested that he had been run over by a motor vehicle.

A case of culpable homicide has been registered for investigation by the Scottburgh SAPS Detective Service. Warrant Officer Salomie Pillay of the Detective Service appeals to witnesses – or anyone who may have information –  to come forward and contact her at 039-9781900/9935.
