“We thank you for the journey you have travelled with us at Creston College, which had the foresight to establish this magnificent school.” explained Mr Coetzee.

“On this day, we give thanks to those who had the vision, courage and faith in God to take bold steps. The school has grown from a small, dusty cluster of prefabs to what we have today. A school we can all be justifiably proud of.”

He pointed out that, as they celebrate the beginnings of their school, they are renewing their commitment to carrying the baton in the relay race their founders began.

“We are the stewards of the gifts of previous generations and commit ourselves to grow the legacy of Creston College. We affirm our identity and celebrate our school’s success and significant contribution to many young people’s lives and to the community we serve.”

Mr Coetzee reminded everyone present that on that special day they had individual experiences of Creston College, which represented a full spectrum of life.

“Combined, we form a beautiful tapestry of inspirational and challenging stories. We inspire excellence and continually strive to make a world of difference.”
