HIBBERDENE Academy’s foundation phase pupils have been delighting the community with visits. Accompanied by Saras Naicker, grades RR and R visited the police station last Friday where Constable Lily Shinga showed them around and introduced them to Warrant Officer Lallchand Lalmun who explained how policemen and police stations function.

They then popped into the library and were introduced to the world of books by library staff members. Mrs Naicker then took them across the road to visit Pick n Pay where store manager Morné Pretorius patiently showed them round the shop and treated them to a cold drink.
A sincere thank you is extended to management for taking time out of their busy schedules to deal with the children. The school appreciates the time and transport assistance afforded by grandfather Clement Zuma.
