HIBBERDENE Academy welcomed the new season last Friday. Spring Day was wonderful, filled with action and fun. The first and second lessons were formal with a cycle test in the second lesson for grades 4 to 11.
Matrics have finished trials and are busy with final revisions with subject teachers. The Gr 11 matric dance fund-raising team treated pupils to braaied chicken rolls at break and thereafter each phase settled down to watch a movie as part of English film studies.

Pupils bought ‘movie packs’ comprising popcorn, a cool drink and delicious cupcake from the gr 11 team and sweets and chips were also on sale.
Everything sold out and gr 11 pupils are congratulated on reaping the rewards from all their hard work. After break everyone paraded in their ensembles and prizes were awarded for the ‘springiest’ outfits.
