Jai Hind pupils market their wares

Members of the community are urged to support the fund-raising initiative.

JAI Hind Primary’s gr 7 pupils hosted a market day last Friday as part of their EMS curriculum. Budding entrepreneurs set up stalls and provided a wide range of products for ‘shoppers’ to purchase.

Happy customers were able to buy products such as food, toys, cool drinks and imitation jewellery. The jumping castle, face painting and hair-spraying were very popular and helped generate income.

Foundation phase was entertained by ‘Puppet World’ recently and the small pupils were thrilled with the cute puppets and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Interactive activities with the puppets helped pupils learn all about their bodies and staying safe.

All pupils are currently collecting funds for the fun walk event scheduled for September 28. Members of the community are urged to support the fund-raising initiative.
