IZOTSHA Primary experienced another busy week, especially with the ‘Spring Challenge’ last Friday. This event was a bumper school fund-raiser to finance the newly-tarred netball courts.
Pupils from grades R to 7 thoroughly enjoyed the obstacle course challenges which were suited to each age group, but the most popular activity was the ‘slip and slide’.

At the cricket matches against Creston College, the U11A team won by nine wickets. David Bunge batted well, scoring 21 not-out. Zack Lawrence bowled extremely well with only three runs scored against him in four overs.
Mason Hielckert and Matthew Borchers took four wickets each. The U11B team won by 56 runs with Robert Ribiero scoring 48. The U13A team won by nine wickets with Joshua Jordaan scoring 15 runs.
Reece Murray took four wickets, Bruce Bormann three and Kelli Ashington, Reece duToit and Blaine Walker took one each. The U13B team was also victorious. All players thoroughly enjoyed the matches.
