CRESTON gr 00 pupil Zoe Hartley did well in her section for dancers (7 yrs and younger) at local dance studio In Motion Dance Academy’s 2017 Dance Championships. Zoe won first place for freestyle and second places for hip hop and slow dance.
Creston cares about charity. Gr 4 will donate stationery packs to Khulu Community Centre’s crèche; gr 5 will be putting together Christmas presents for the Assisi Shelter for Children and the school packaged an impressive 70 boxes for ‘Santa’s Shoebox’ collection.
Clinton Bezuidenhout (gr 10) came third in the junior division and placed fourth overall at the VW Polo Cup Championships and at the opening round in Cape Town, he achieved first place overall for the day and five podium finishes out of eight overall. He is the youngest driver to take part in the Polo Cup at national level.
Gr 7 pupils are invited to write the 2018 gr 8 entrance tests every Friday during the fourth term from November 17 to December 1. Contact Lynne Harley at 039 6855562.
