Meet rising Creston star Jadyn

Jadyn will compete for SA colours at the internationals in Malaysia.

Creston’s gr 1 classes visited the National Sea Rescue Institute’s (NSRI) base in Shelly Beach last week. They were treated to an informative ‘Waterwise’ presentation and climbed aboard the rescue boats!

Grades 1 and 2 ‘Outreach Club’ visited the Flower Foundation Retirement Home to deliver Christmas cards, bookmarks and treats.

Gr 2 held its Mini Market Day last Friday and profits will be used towards purchasing goodies for gift bags to be delivered to Inkulu Primary.

Gr 4 pupil Jadyn Kenneth represented KZN in the PAMA Nationals where there was a total of 704 competitors from nine provinces.

He earned the ‘Champion of Champions’ award in his category and scooped provincial colours for mental arithmetic.

A member of the 2018 provincial team at the nationals next year, Jadyn will compete for SA colours at the internationals in Malaysia where 18 countries will compete.

Gr 7 pupils are invited to write the 2018 gr 8 entrance tests on November 24 or December 1. Contact Lynne Harley at 039 6855562.
