Well done to Scottburgh High pupils who were recognised at their junior prize-giving last Wednesday.
Awards were presented for academic achievements from grades 8 to 11, along with sports awards and special trophies.

Cayla de Souza and Fernando Fernandez Gomez, head prefects of 2017, gave the prefects oath and announced the head prefects of 2018.
Congratulations to Henco van Wyk and Tia Tommy (head boy and girl) and to Rahul Singh and Eden Pillay (the deputies).
This was also the last time the matrics were at a prize-giving and they were cheered as they left the hall.
Good luck to all matriculants as they await their results next year, and to all pupils as you enter your new school year.
Hard work and dedication do pay off!
