Just In: Wall collapses, killing construction worker in Bhobhoyi

Nine other workers escaped uninjured.

According to KZN EMS spokesman, Robert Mckenzie a group of construction workers were building a wall at a school when it collapsed, trapping one of the men.

“He was declared dead at the scene. Nine other workers escaped uninjured,” said Mr Mckenzie.

Paramedics from KZN EMS and Med-Evac attended the scene.

Police and the labour department are currently at the scene.

Police have opened an inquest docket.
