Port Shepstone Islamic School’s matric awards evening held last Friday showcased the achievements of the ‘Class of 2017’.
The school has now attained a 100 percent pass rate for the 17th year! Top performer Usaamah Ganie achieved seven A symbols, with a distinction aggregate of 85 percent, closely followed by Maryam Kadodia and Ahmad Hasan Musa who also scooped distinction aggregates.

The class of 20 pupils did well to produce 71 A and B symbols. Pupils were addressed about the demands of higher education and the importance of upholding the school’s moral values. The evening was excellently organised by the gr 11 class and concluded with the presentation of subject awards and a delicious dinner.
The school welcomes all new staff members.
