Last Thursday, a number of budding cricketers from Margate Primary were treated to a day at the first ODI match between the Proteas and India in Durban.
Even though South Africa lost, they thoroughly enjoyed watching their hero and past Margate Primary pupil Andile Phehlukwayo in action.

In the first round of ward championships, athletes Onako Sobhuza, Olwethu Sityhala, Kwamukele Nyawuza, Elihle Ngcobo and Angel Guntu succeeded in getting through to the next round of the circuit championships, to be held in Marburg.
The school is very proud and wishes them the best of luck.
